Lenox Porcelain "Noblesse" Dinner Service for Eight
Item Details
A porcelain dinner service for eight in the Noblesse pattern by Lenox, produced 1972 – 1985. This service includes eight footed teacups, eight saucers, eight dinner plates, eight salad plates, and eight bread and butter plates. The items feature a border of green and gold foliate scrolls with accenting blue dots and gold trim against a white field. The undersides are stamped in gold ‘Lenox Noblesse, Lenox Inc. Made in U.S.A’. Also included is one unique footed cream soup bowl with foliate gold encrusted trim. The underside is marked with a green pre-1952 backstamp along with ‘Made Expressly For Ovington Bros. New York’.
