Antique Hand Knotted Persian Balouch Rug
Item Details
A hand knotted Persian Balouch rug. This wool accent rug features an array of medallions in shades of navy, green, taupe, cream and rust on a brown field. The rug is framed with a three part compound border with a blue primary band with a floral vine decor flanked by rust colored bands with scrolling designs. The rug is complete with a natural wool warp fringe to either end. The rug is unmarked. Please note the condition details.

- consistent with age; dye bleed.
- some loss of the flat woven band on each end, extending into the outer border on one end
- damage to selvedge edges on both sides.
- heavy wear overall exposing the white weft yarns in some areas
