1896 Signed Lt.-General Nelson Miles Memoirs

Item Details

A hardcover volume of the Personal Recollections of General Nelson A. Miles, published 1896 by the Werner Company of New York. It is signed by Miles to an applied label to the front flyleaf, dated February 5th 1903. Miles was a US Army officer in the Civil War, the Indian Wars, and the Spanish-American War. His memoirs are illustrated with black-and-white lithographs and steel engravings, and have marbled page edges, and a dark blue faux leather hardcover with gilt lettering.
