Item Details
A vintage US Army 99th Division patch collector’s card by Topps. This card from 1950 presents an image of the 99th ‘Checkerboard’ Division, known during World War II for resisting the German’s north flank during the Battle of the Bulge, preventing their sweep into Belgium despite the relative inexperience of the 99th’s troops. The card depicts an escutcheon-shaped patch on an orange background and a ‘99th Division’ label to the front. The back gives a brief summation of the 99th, and the ’Freedom’s War’ card series logo.

- significant foxing and discoloration to front and back; two holes punched in card
