Lacquered Chinoiserie Cabinet
Item Details
A lacquered chinoiserie cabinet having a rectangular case fitted with two cabinet doors opening to a black painted interior with one shelf. The exterior is hand-painted with colorful scrolled vines, detailed flowers and geometric key motifs, both within the decoration and the borders. The piece rises up on straight legs joined by shaped aprons. There are no visible maker’s marks.
