Vintage Wm. B. Kerr & Co. Glass Vanity Powder Jar with Sterling Silver Lid
Item Details
A vintage glass vanity powder jar by Wm. B. Kerr & Co. of Newark, NJ (active c.1880s – 1927). This piece has a hexagonal glass jar with etched leaves down the sides at each corner. It is topped with a sterling silver lid featuring a line motif and chased floral and foliate trim around the rim, as well as an engraved monogram within a rectangular cartouche accented with scrolled foliage. The side of the lid is stamped with the maker’s mark alongside ‘50-5-6 A35’. The approximate weigh to the lid, excluding the glass jar, is 2.525 ozt.

- light surface scratches and tarnish to lid; personalized engraving to lid.
