Item Details
A collection of original black-and-white photos of players and games that took place at Crosley Field. There are sixteen photos. Most of the photos have handwritten notations that give player names. There’s a close up of Stan Hack in his Chicago Cubs uniform. There’s a far away shot of Pepper Martin at the plate. Reds players photographed (most are in a distant shot) are Paul Derringer, Frank McCormick, Alex Kampouris and Ival Goodman. One photo has a distant shot of a pitcher with the caption written ‘Gomez’, this is probably Lefty Gomez who pitched for the Yankees, therefore this photo was taken during the 1939 World Series.

- most photos are good, one has a tear at the top
