An illustrated leaf from a 16th century German herbal. This leaf is presented inside a cloth on board book, titled in gilt letters ‘Original Illustrated Leaf From A 16th Century German Herbal’, framed inside a white mat. It is printed on laid paper, featuring an illustration of a plant or herb with a description of its use and properties in German. Also included is a certificate from The Ferrini-French Collection attributing the leaf to Hieronymus Bock’s Kreuterbuch with woodcuts by David Kandel.
