Original Oil on Canvas Painting of Ringmaster and Horse
Item Details
An original oil on canvas painting. This work depicts a man wearing a top hat and tails with his arms outstretched, behind him is a prominent smiling horse and a colorful abstract background, perhaps a circus tent. The painting was executed with thick brushstrokes resulting in a heavy texture throughout. Unsigned by the artist, the painting is presented in a gold finished wood and gesso frame, wired for hanging.
Condition
-the paper is torn off at the back of the frame, canvas is stapled to frame with “straps”, some chunks of frame trim missing
