A pair of original early-20th century Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints by well-listed printmaker Tsukioka Kōgyo (月岡 耕漁, 1869-1927). The selection includes Driving Off Birds (鳥追) and Tōboku (東北) both from the series One Hundred Noh Plays (能楽百番). The series and print titles are printed in the upper right and the artist’s ‘Kōgyo’ (耕漁) signature is printed alongside two seals in the lower right. Framed identically surrounded by silk mats and black and gold tone finished frames. Papered and wired to the back with affixed labels from Washington D.C.’s Shogun Gallery.
