Item Details
A sterling silver carving set in the Old King pattern by Whiting Manufacturing Company, first produced in 1890. This three-piece set comprises a carving knife, fork and honing steel, each featuring a hollow sterling silver King’s style handle with double anthemion accents and scrolled edges. They are marked ‘Sterling’ with the maker’s pictorial mark. The pieces are presented with stainless steel components marked ‘Germany’.
Condition
- surface wear including scratches, moderate tarnish, and significant discoloration to blades and tongs.
