A vintage brochure and four vintage to antique prints. This collection includes a 1940s-era brochure for Hotpoint electric appliances, titled Your Next Kitchen – by Hotpoint. This collection also includes a color postcard with an illustration of a young girl and a diminutive gnome-like man, with the text ‘Use Day’s Soap’; a color postcard with an illustration of a young girl carrying two large baskets of flowers, with text beginning ‘Compliments of O. White and Co., Dealers in Ready Made Clothing…’; a color print after Henry Raeburn’s 1818 painting Boy and Rabbit; and a black-and-white print captioned ‘Exhibit of Allen & Ginter of Richmond, Va.’
Condition
- to good; tearing from adhesive removal on back of “Use Day’s Soap” card; edge wear; discoloration; each item in plastic sleeve with cardboard.
