A hand-knotted Persian Isfahan area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of navy , olive green, white, ocher, red, taupe, burnt orange, and cream. The field is patterned with curvilinear vines, lancet leaves, and palmettes. It is framed with a border of arabesqued vines and sawtooth lines. Finished with overcast edges and fringe to either end.
