Chinese Ceramic Planter with Stand
Item Details
A Chinese ceramic planter with wood stand. The planter features a flared rim and gradually narrows to the base. To the outside of the planter are brightly colored scenes featuring Chinese nobility and gardens filled with blooming flowers and mythological birds. Goldfish and water plants decorate the interior of the planter. A carved wood pedestal with five curving legs and a rosewood finish supports the planter. The planter has an apocryphal Guangxu reign mark to the underside and the stand a label marked ‘Made in China’.
