A collection of vintage side chairs. These ‘Hitchcock’ style chairs feature maple construction with a cherry finish and consist of three side and one armchair. The chairs boast a pillow top top rail and single slat back, natural rush curved seat and a turned applique front seat rail. The rear stiles are round and slighter taper at the floor while the front stiles are plainly turned and terminate to a ball foot. The front stretcher is also plainly turned and the chair has plain double stretchers on the side.
