An antique turn-of-the-century Orientalist genre oil painting on canvas by an anonymous artist. This work depicts an intricately detailed scene of a man riding atop the back of a camel who are racing through the desert with a sense of urgency. The figure is shown carrying a whip in his hand and a rifle and pack on his back. This painting appears to be without a signature or other identifying labels. It is presented in an open gold tone wooden frame with a wire hanger to the verso.

- moderate to severe discoloration to image; light stains on image surface; moderate wear to frame.
