A Jean Cordet oil on canvas painting by listed artist (French, 1910 – unknown). This Impressionist style painting displays a Parisienne street scene of figures moving past trees, noting shops to the left side of the composition with a glimpse of the Notre Dame Cathedral to the right side. The piece is signed near the lower right. The painting is housed in a wooden frame with gilded details, and a short biography of the artist is attached to the reverse.

Cordet studied under Professor Maurice at the Painting School of Paris and traveled, later receiving accolades for his work, and then settling in Vienna, Austria. He is known for his Impressionist style and vibrant European streetscapes.
