Victorian Mantel Clock
Item Details
A Victorian mantel clock. The clock has a walnut case and features a bonnet with a scalloped edge and decorative geometric designs with floral shaped, cut out style wood finials. Other features of the clock include a glass front door with a gilded foliate design with pink and black accents. The door displays a brass bezel surrounding a white enamel face with classic black Roman numerals and serpentine hands with two brass key arbors. Other features of the clock include chimes, a winding key and the clock stands on a plinth style base with a wood stand that has black geometric designs and bracket feet. There are no apparent makers marks and the clock is circa 1879.

Condition
- untested, most of the original paint has faded off the face of the clock component, and some of the gold leaf has faded.
