An original oil painting on canvas Mineral by Cincinnati based Contemporary artist Sarah Brown. This abstract composition, inspired by a landscape, features horizontal layers of textured pigment in taupe violet, green, and gray. It is presented in a bronze-tone floater frame. The verso of this piece is signed and dated (’16) by the artist. It is equipped to hang.

Brown studied Fine Arts and Art History at the University of Hartford and Hartford Art School. She continued her studies with several nationally and internationally recognized artists while establishing her own mode of Abstract Impressionism. Her work has been accepted to and received awards at several group and solo shows and is currently on display in public and private collections throughout the Northeast. Sarah is now a resident of Cincinnati and finds the city a great inspiration. She currently works from her studio at the Pendleton Art Center.
