A vintage Art Nouveau style Philadelphia Sesquecentennial bronze tone metal plate. The rounded diamond shaped plate features an shield with the words ‘Sesquicentennial 1776—1926 Philadelphia’, raised floral and lily pad designs and a mermaid raising her upper body out of the pond while her tail is visible behind her. The plate is marked ‘819’ to the underside.
