A dyed filled geode. This geode specimens displays a thin rim of banded cryptocrystalline quartz that grades into a zone of coarse crystalline quartz with a central cryptocrystalline region that also splits the coarse crystalline zone. The geode has been dyed a dark blue color. No collection locality information is provided for this specimen.
