A hand-hooked Aubusson style needlepoint area rug. The center of the rug is decorated with a cluster of blue, pink, and cream roses with green foliage surrounded by tan and sage green acanthus leaves atop a buttery yellow. The rug retains an original cloth tag that reads ‘A Genuine Village Square Needle Point Rug.’

- staining to rugs front and back, unraveling at binding.
