A metal sculpture after Frederic Sackrider Remington’s (1861-1909) Mountain Man. This piece features a black finish and depicts a man guiding his horse down a steep grade, a looping rope pulled over the animal’s neck. The sculpture, which features an illegible in-mold foundry mark, is presented on an oval base with a brass tone plaque toward one edge.
