Republic Period Chinese Cloisonné Censer

Item Details

A Chinese cloisonné censer from the early 20th century. It features a brass etched floral finial with a reticulated scroll lid. It features two elephant relief handles and a cloisonné enameled body with floral motifs and scrolls on a dark yellow background. The underside features a stylized Tongzhi reign mark, however, it was likely produced during the Republic period.
