Chippendale Style Writing Desk

Item Details

A chippendale style writing desk. The writing desk is made of wood with a dark cherry stain and burl veneer to the desktop. The piece features a large, rectangular writing surface surrounded by carved rope moulding. Three drawers, trimmed with brass tone hardware, are found below. The piece features a skirt with ornate carvings. The desk rests atop four large, carved cabriole legs that terminate in ball and claw feet. No mark is present to indicate a maker.
