Carved Wood and Metal Box

Item Details

A carved wood and metal box. The box is wood with a square shape that features a hinged lid with a decorative metal design in colors of blue, yellow, white and green. The decorative metal is surrounded by a carved wood frame with a scrollwork and Greek key design. The lid opens to reveal a wood interior and is fastened by a brass-tone latch with a wood framed base to the underside. There are no apparent makers marks.

Condition

- crack on top and bottom, metal on top is cracked.
