Neoclassical Style, Walnut and Wrought Iron Console Table

A Neoclassical style, walnut and metal console table having a rectangular top with a serpentine shaped front edge over a complaint apron set with two drawers. The drawers feature carved flower heads flanked by incised and routed patterns and set with silver-toned pulls. The base is constructed from scrolled metal treated to a distressed silver painted surface. The piece rises up on curved metal legs ending on square feet joined by a serpentine-shaped walnut shelf. The piece is located on the 2nd floor and is heavy. There are no visible maker’s marks.
