Hand-Knotted Persian Moud Wool Area Rug

Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian wool area rug, attributed to weavers of Moud. The area rug features a repeating herati pattern in a palette of amber, cobalt, flaxen, and juniper against a cream colored field. It has a compound border with, the main border has a herati pattern on a flaxen field. The rug features tightly overcast edges with desne wool warp fringe to the ends, and is unmarked to the underside.
