Item Details
A pair of Victorian Eastlake walnut framed chairs. The chairs feature burled veneered and carved crest rails over pronounced, scroll-routed ears supported by small brackets attached to the stiles framing the upholstered backs. Curved hip supports flank the cushioned and upholstered seats. The chairs rise up on front ring-and-block turned legs joined by a bowed apron with carved detail. The chairs have subtle differences, such as the shape of the hip supports and the way the legs are attached at the apron. There are no visible maker’s marks.
