An early 19th century Mesoamerican terra cotta tripod copal burner. The piece has a bulbous form, in a rich terra cotta glaze on a terra cotta base, both to the interior and exterior, and with three slender tapered legs having black painted ends. The burner is decorated with four stylized black-painted four-petaled flowers. The piece is unsigned.
