A watercolor and pastel painting of a figure study by listed artist Nitza Flantz. This Expressionist style painting on paper depicts a nude woman posed in profile, stretching her body forward with raised arms while closing her eyes. The figure is rendered with frenetic marks of pastel, which is surrounded by pooled pigment. To the lower right corner of the composition is a graphite signature. The painting is presented under acrylic glass in a dark and bronze tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
