Vintage Holmes & Edwards "Lovely Lady" Silver Plate Flatware Set
Item Details
A vintage silver plate flatware set in the Lovely Lady pattern by Holmes & Edwards. Designed by Edward J. Conroy and produced between 1937 – 1959, the pattern features a flared handle with floral trim, a raised floral and foliate design at the termination and a personalized engraving in cursive script. This set includes approximately eight hollow handle knives with stainless blades, eight dinner forks, eight salad forks, two serving spoons, one flat handle master butter knife, one sugar spoon, eight teaspoons, eight place spoons, and eight round bowl spoons. The handles are marked ‘Holmes & Edwards Inlaid IS’ to the reverse and all items are presented in a wooden tarnish-proof chest.
