Vintage Russian Propaganda Poster

A vintage Russian propaganda poster, published on the seventh anniversary of the October Revolution, with a depiction of a ‘Pioneer’ drummer, a member of the Soviet youth group for children. The drummer is dressed in a white shirt with red neck scarf and green brimmed hat, wearing dark green shorts and black knee socks and boots, set against a start red flaming background with black buildings and indigo sky. The poster has off white lettering and a black border, signed to print to the right side. The October Revolution took place in 1917 during the Russian Revolution, which dates the poster to 1924.
