French Beechwood and Walnut Buffet Cabinet

A 1930s French buffet cabinet in beechwood with walnut book-matched veneers and inlaid borders. The molded cornice has a break-front, above a carved frieze and two upper cabinets with leaded and beveled glass doors, supported on turned spindles, flanking a centered beveled mirror and walnut veneered top. The base cabinet features three carved drawers with cast foliate pulls, above four framed doors with book-matched walnut panels and cast brass handles with escutcheon and key. The case rests on tapered square legs.
