A hand-knotted Pak-Kazak carpet runner. This wool rug has a colored palette of salmon, bright blue, pale gold, black, white and peach. The field is patterned with diamond starbust medallions arrange in a lattice design. It is framed with a border of boxed rosettes and Shivran-style brackets. It is has natural warp fringe to either end and it is not marked.
