Item Details
A handwoven Turkish kilim. This colorful wool accent rug is rendered in a wide-ranging, variegated palette, including yellow, gold, purple, emerald, shades of pink, shades of blue and cream. It begins with three small ashik motifs arranged in a vertical row. Each ashik is enclosed in a series of concentric diamond bands, the bands containing reciprocal sawtooth patterns. Outer edges are cream colored. Selvedges are double overcast, the rug finishing at each end with ivory wool warp fringe. Unlabeled.
