A 20th-century hand-colored lithograph print on paper after an antique etching of Nantes, France The piece depicts a view of the French city, with the Loire River shown to the foreground, rendered in a palette of applied blue, green and red hues. The unsigned print includes information about the town, with numbered and labeled points of interest, printed in plate to the lower margin. It is matted in red and blue and presented under glass in a decorative wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
