Vintage After Picasso "Femme Assise" Decorative Plate
Item Details
A vintage decorative ceramic plate after Pablo Picasso’s pochoir titled Femme Assise. The plate features a depiction of a seated semi-nude female figure holding a guitar in her lap and a sheet of music in her hand. It is rendered in red, green, and blue with a decorative cream and blue tone painted scalloped rim. No visible maker’s marks are present.
Condition
- discoloration to painted image; scratches and small chips in image and edges of the piece; dirt on piece; large crack was repaired at the bottom center.
