An assortment of French-language books from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. All eight of these volumes are bound in one-quarter or one-half leather with gilt to the spine, and all but Stendhal’s Le Rouge et le Noir have marbled paper-covered boards. Other titles include Le Livre de Mon Ami by Anatole France, Thaïs by Anatole France, a two-volume edition of Derniers Voyages en Zigzag by Rodolphe Töpffer, and more.
