A 1903 watercolor painting on paper by artist R. Steiner. The piece depicts a stylized illustration of a snow-covered forest landscape at night, with a large yellow moon shining through a cluster of bare trees. The work is signed and dated in paint to the lower right. It is matted in gold tone and presented under glass in an antique gold tone wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- to poor; severe toning, mat burn and discoloration to image and matting; light staining to mat; extensive wear and scuffing to frame and verso; tears to frame backing.
