An antique curule style Victorian chair features oak construction in a lacquer finish and boasts a scroll crest rail with carved foliate pattern and central heraldic style medallion. The chair is further highlighted by a pleated fan backsplat and straight arms terminating in a scroll, embellished with carved dentil molding on both sides. The seat is upholstered in a light oxblood leather with rosehead upholstery tacks and a curvilinear skirt with hand carved shell sits below. The legs gently curve outward, have turned stretchers and terminate to paw feet.
