An original cardboard folder from ‘Johns-Manville Aerospace Insulations’ containing documents and photographs from NASA’s ‘Project Apollo.’ This folder contains typed letters on Johns-Manville stationary outlining and explaining thermal insulations for the Apollo Missions. Authentic black and white spacecraft photographs are enclosed. The Johns-Manville Corporation from New York, New York supplied necessary insulation equipment in the design of NASA’s Apollo missions. There is a total of six black and white photographs in this folder. This folder is from NASA’s early days of space exploration. There is a zip code on the stationary, dates the material to mid-1960s.
Condition
Good Condition. Edge and surface age wear with some touched corners. Soiling and staining. The folder has spine age wear with notations on the back cover.
