A 1940 Pat Keely ‘Form A Savings Group Now!’ poster. The poster is designed with a stylised depiction of four men of a tug-of-war team pulling on an orange rope. The rope extends into the distance with no opposing team visible. The other end of the rope forms into a pound sign. 61 issued by the National Savings Committee, London; The Scottish Savings Committee Edinburgh, and The Ulster Savings Committee, Belfast. Printed for H.M. Stationery Office by Wm. Brown and Co., Ltd. Pat Keely was a British graphic designer of posters, ads and trade piece, notably posters for Ministry of Information targeting the Ministry of Labour and National Services campaigns.
