Offset Lithographs of Animals After David Shepherd and Barton

A collection of offset lithographs on paper with one after an artist signed ‘Barton’ and five after British artist David Shepherd (1931-2017). The first depicts three Arabian oryx, a type of white antelope with black legs and facial spots and long, straight horns. It is signed in ink and dated ‘79’ to the lower left and marked ‘No. 36’ to the lower right, with the common name printed to the lower left, scientific classification to the lower center, and Arabian name to the lower right. The other five prints depict bison, rhinos, a male lion, elephants, and a leopard, and are signed both in plate and by hand to the lower right. Each is presented behind a mat and glass in a thin wood frame with wires to the versos for hanging.

- to Fair; discoloration to paper; surface wear to frames; wear to edges and corners; frame for leopard print has repair to corner.

- measures five larger frames; visible images measure 15.5"W x 8.75"H.
