A framed 1944 advertisement for Corby’s Whiskey, taken from a mid-century magazine. The piece depicts imagery discussing the history of the Kentucky Derby, while promoting World War II efforts by encouraging people to ‘Lend Fighting Dollars, Buy War Bonds.’ The image is double-matted in navy and taupe and presented under protective glazing in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
