Victorian Gold-Tone Cut-Out Carved Helmet Shell Cameo Brooch

A Victorian gold-tone brooch showcasing a cut-out cameo. The cameo is carved from helmet shell and depicts a Grecian woman with her head cut-out from the gold-tone bezel. Her hair is laden with grape vines and clusters. To the verso is a tube hinged clasp. No marks were found in order to identify a manufacturer.
