A color linoleum cut titled Picador and Bull designed by Pablo Picasso (Spain/France, 1881 – 1973), printed in the First Edition of Pablo Picasso Linoleum Cuts Bacchanals, Women, Bulls & Bullfighters, published by Harry N. Abrams, Inc. in 1962. Produced late in Picasso’s career, this colorful abstract image is rendered in black, taupe and tan and portrays the mounted picador with his pike with the bull. The heads of spectators are visible in the background. The image is printed on heavy stock and is matted and presented under glass in a bronze toned wooden frame.
Condition
- minor scuffs on the frame; residue to glass.
