Four Vintage Hepplewhite Style Mahogany Side Chairs

Item Details

A set of four vintage Hepplewhite style side chairs. Each of these chairs is constructed from mahogany and features a square back with a raised pediment and a splat accented with figured veneers and marquetry fan inlays. The seat cushions are upholstered with striped fabric in a palette of red, green, blue and gold over a serpentine apron, and the fronts have carved bellflower designs over tapered, square-cut legs with spade feet joined to the curved rear legs by stretchers. This item matches 18COL006-087 and 18COL006-088.
