Completed in a representational style, this work depicts the subtle shifting tones of light across a garden and a house. Hurley grew up in a small midwestern Ohio town with rolling hills. She received a BFA from the College of Mount St. Joseph and continued her studies at The Art Academy of Cincinnati, including studying with renowned artist Wolf Kahn. She is well exhibited with work in private and corporate collections. This piece is signed on the lower left and is mounted under glass in a wood frame.
