A Japanese butsudan ancestor altar in a gilt and lacquer finish. The cabinet features a wood black lacquer frame with gilt details throughout, including a carved wood top interior panel and front folding entry panels with gold tone metal details. The cabinet also includes two lower storage drawers with various accessories including a miniature wooden gold tone painted tea set, a yellow painted porcelain teapot and teacups, brass finials and a round ceramic black incense burner.
